Lilith was Adam’s first wife according to the The Talmud, and unlike Eve who was made from a part of Adam, Lilith was created from the same earth as Adam. From her first breath, Lilith fought for equality with Adam and not subservience.
She proved to be too strong willed for Adam and was cast out of the Garden of Eden.
Lilith is seen as a symbol of feminine strength, independence, and sexual liberation. A woman who society cannot control and who determines her own path.
